From July 4th to July 31st, Playstation Plus members of all tiers (Essential, Extra, and Premium) can download Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, Alan Wake Remastered, and Endling: Extinction is Forever. The free Playstation Plus games can be added to both the PS4 and PS5 libraries.
PlayStation Plus members are treated to a fantastic and diverse lineup of games. Shooter fans can enjoy Call of Duty, while players eagerly awaiting Alan Wake 2 can refresh their memory with the first installment (or perhaps experience it for the first time). Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War (PS4 + PS5)
The seventeenth installment of the renowned Call of Duty series was released in 2020. Black Ops Cold War was developed by Treyarch and Raven Software.
The campaign of this first-person shooter takes place in the early 80s and follows CIA agent Russel Adler. You pursue a suspected Soviet spy and shoot your way through locations like Vietnam, Turkey, East Berlin, and the Soviets’ KGB headquarters. The campaign features multiple endings based on your choices.
Alan Wake Remastered (PS4 + PS5)
The sequel, Alan Wake 2, will be released on October 17th, making this the perfect time to jump in or refresh your memory.
The original game was released in 2010 by developer Remedy Entertainment. This action-adventure game revolves around bestselling thriller writer Alan Wake. During a vacation, his wife goes missing, and Alan must investigate the mysterious disappearance. Unexplained events from his latest manuscript, of which he does not recall writing, come to life.
Endling: Extinction is Forever (PS4 + PS5)
This indie survival-adventure puts you in control of the last surviving mother fox. Your task is to keep your cubs alive while the post-apocalyptic world around you is crumbling. You must protect yourself and your cubs from the threats of nature to prevent your species from becoming extinct. No pressure.
The game was developed by Herobeat Studios and was released in 2022. With a playtime of 4 to 5 hours, you can fairly easily complete this beautifully designed game.
